This is just sulfur, and I am using it to try to reduce the pH of the soil around my Red Oak. It’s suffering from iron chlorosis. The experts say my efforts will be futile, for chemically complex reasons, but I’m going to do my best. Also, it’s good exercise, boring holes in the ground and filling them with sulfur.
[...]Oh, yeah. A 50 lb bag/box of sulfur is really heavy, at least my 75y/o arms think so. I’ve done about 125 lb so far. Maybe another 150 to go.
