Temp Vent Automatic Foundation 6 Series offers a worry-free solution for maintaining proper ventilation in your crawl spaces. Designed with a bi-metal coil, these vents automatically open and close with temperature changes, eliminating the need for manual operation or electricity. When the temperature reaches 70°F, the vent fully opens to allow fresh air to circulate, and when it drops to approximately 40°F, the vent closes to conserve energy and protect pipes from freezing.
This Temp Vent Automatic Foundation 6 Series is easy to install with the included screws, screw anchors, and retaining clips. No mortar, power, or electrical connections are required for operation, making the installation process quick and simple. The vent is designed to fit standard foundation sizes, measuring 16″ x 8″, with actual outside dimensions of 17 1/2″ x 9 3/4″ and inside dimensions of 15 1/4″ x 7 1/2″ x 4 1/2″.
