This is a fantastic addition to an already fantastic product that is the Centrobulb. The foot long extension makes applying dust so much easier. I don't need ladders to reach high places or squat to reach very low areas. I bought a second one to increase the length because I have several areas in my house that even a foot long extender can't reach. I used 2 combined to make a 2 feet long extension and it still works well. The dust was applied properly and evenly. I can see a super long extension being a problem for reaching upwards, but it's totally fine for the floor.
