Navigate 2,4-D Aquatic Granular Herbicide - 50 Lb is a granular aquatic herbicide registered for use in lakes and ponds.
- Selective Herbicide is formulated to control water milfoil, water stargrass, bladderwort, white and yellow water lily, water shield, water chestnut and coontail.
- Water use is restricted for non-turf irrigation and drinking (human consumption).
- Readily sinks to the bottom around plants where it is most effective.
- Provides gradual release and systemic action for complete kill of entire plant.
- Controls a large number of nuisance aquatic plants.
- Controls weed for up to 1 or 2 years.
- Has a low toxicity to fish and other aquatic organisms.
- Active ingredient is 27.6% butoxyethyl ester of 2,4-Dichlorophenoxyacetic acid.
CONTROLS: water milfoil, water stargrass, bladderwort, white and yellow water lily, water shield, water chestnut, coontail and other aquatic weeds.
USES: Ponds, Lakes, Shorelines, Beaches and around Docks.
RATES: 100 - 200 pounds per surface acre (1 - 2 lbs. per 430 sq.ft.).
Application should be made on smooth surface infested with weeds so granules will settle to the bottom around roots and stems.
