As a few other reviewers stated, these bait stations will work well for rats, mice, chipmonks, voles, and other small rodents. We had quite a problem with burrowing rodents and mice outside - almost overrun. I purchased several (4-5) of these bait stations and placed them around various sides of the house (outside) and especially in corners or where rodents traveled. The volume (capacity) of bait area coupled with access openings make this an idea bait station.

These are well built and easy to use/refill bait stations. And very affordable without any unnecessary gimmicks for "better" trapping. These work more than just fine.

Great way to safely use rodenticides and keep away from weather, pets, and children. Very durable. The locking mechanism on some previous units was VERY STIFF and difficult to release, but the 2 units from the most recent order (July 2015) perform much better. Also no unlocking key was included with my 2 units, but luckily I already had one from before. Make sure you get a key if this is your first order.
